Recoating Timber Floors
If your existing timber floors are looking the worse for wear it may be time to restore them with a fresh finish.
Any recoating process will require that the floor be sanded to rejuvenate the appearance of old flooring. The degree of sanding depends on the condition of the old floor. If your floor has minor surface scratches and light scuff marks, only a light sanding and re-coat floor finish will be necessary. However, for deep scratches and damage the flooring will have to be sanded right back and new coats of polish applied.
The type of polish you need depends on several factors including level of traffic, desired appearance and wear factors. At Traditional Timber Floor Sanding we offer a variety of finishes including oil-based or polyurethane.
